Alexandra Montie, Resident in Counseling
Ali Montie is a Resident in Counseling with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hollins University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Tech. Ali has experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds in both community and inpatient settings, equipping her with a broad perspective on mental health challenges.
In her practice, Ali employs an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. She is committed to creating a collaborative and compassionate environment that empowers clients, promotes personal growth, and facilitates lasting change. Ali’s goal is to support clients through a process that not only addresses immediate concerns but also fosters long-term well-being.
Outside of her professional life, Ali enjoys hiking with her dog and getting lost in a good book, often accompanied by her two cats.
